**JP** indian air force update - the prized Sukhoi SU30 this time!!!!!

indian air force has proved that they are way ahead of my follow-ups in crashing fighter aircraft. This time it was no ordinary one but the prized Sukhoi SU-30MK1, indians top if the line aircraft, for which they have ordered nearly 200+. 

This is no small incident. The indian airforce chief has to fly another Sukhoi for an hour to calm down nerves of the pilots as they fear that the planes are unsafe for flying. All the rest were grounded for investigations. It is not clear whether it is the plane manufacturers who are conspiring against the indian air force sending them planes that just find the dust, or it is the pilots who are conspiring against their own air force... !!! To set the record straight, this is the 3rd Sukhoi SU-30 aircraft that has crashed in indian hands. Will foreign companies stop selling to india any planes as it gives a very negative image of their aircraft the world over?

This may be the 1008th plane that indians have lost in attrition, but to be honest, I have lost count!!!!

 ISLAMABAD - Challenging the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP)'s decision of barring dual nationality-holders from contesting elections for parliament, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan announced on Wednesday that his party would file a review petition with the ECP seeking a reversal of the decision. "A number of Pakistanis having dual nationalities have vast businesses abroad... They serve the country in the shape of foreign remittances amounting to billions of rupees and they should have the right to contest polls," he told reporters at a press conference in which former federal law minister from the Pakistan People's Party (PPP) Syed Iftikhar Gilani and former provincial minister Iftikhar-ud-Din Khattak joined the PTI.
 Responding to a query regarding reports of a secret deal between the government and the military over the memogate scandal, Khan said he was not aware of any secret deal between the government and military over the memo issue but the judiciary should take the issue to its logical end.

Minister Told He Will Face Potential Arrest for Reading Christmas Story from the Bible at Capitol Christmas Tree

WASHINGTON, Dec. 21, 2011 /Christian Newswire/ -- Rev. Patrick Mahoney to read the Christmas Story at the Capitol Tree on Thursday, December 22, at 12:00 P.M.

The Capitol Christmas Tree is located on the West Lawn of the United States Capitol Building.

Rev. Mahoney met with Capitol Police officials telling them of his plans to sing Christmas Carols, read the Christmas story, pray for peace, justice and religious freedom, hold a small 5 inch Nativity Display and pray for political leaders at the Capitol Christmas Tree.

Police officials told him some of his activities may be prohibited or constitute an illegal demonstration.

Rev. Mahoney contacted his attorney, Jim Henderson Senior Counsel for the American Center for Law and Justice, who in turn called the Office of General Counsel for the Capitol Police on Tuesday, December, 21.

After talking with the Assistant General Counsel for the Capitol Police, Mr. Henderson sent Rev. Mahoney this email:

"Your use of the Bible or the ornament (Nativity Scene) would convert your activity, in the view of the Capitol Police, into a prohibited demonstration. If you failed to discontinue that activity on police direction you would be risking ticketing or arrest."

Rev. Mahoney told Capitol Police officials he would still read the Christmas Story and hold the Nativity Display on Thursday even if it meant arrest or citation.

This threat of arrest for reading from the Bible comes in the wake of national news stories reporting that the Capitol Christmas Tree has no ornaments depicting the Christmas Story, The Nativity or Jesus.

Rev. Patrick J. Mahoney, Director of the Christian Defense Coalition, states:

"It is hard to imagine that a minister, or any American, would face possible arrest or citation for reading the Christmas Story from the Bible or holding a Nativity Display in the palm of their hand in front of the Capitol Christmas Tree on the lawn of the United States Capitol Building.

"Yet, this is what I am facing on Thursday at noon.

"Sadly, we are seeing a growing hostility toward public expressions of faith in the public square especially during the Christmas Season.

"We are now seeing that at the Capitol Christmas Tree where there are no ornaments of Christ or the Nativity and a minister is facing arrest for reading the Christmas Story from the Bible.

"I was told I could hold sheet music, an instrument or camera in my hand, but if I hold a Bible or small Nativity Scene that would be considered a 'prop' and cause me to face arrest or citation.

"I want to make to clear that every American should have the right to express their faith in the public square free from government intimidation or harassment.

"If that means spending time in jail for reading the Christmas Story from the Bible, then I consider that a small price price to pay."

For those who are listening to the liberals propagating the fallacy that everything is "Bush's Fault", think about this: January 3rd, 2007, the day the Democrats took over the Senate and the Congress: The DOW Jones closed at 12,621.77 The GDP for the previous quarter was 3.5% The Unemployment rate was 4.6% George Bush's Economic policies SET A RECORD of 52 STRAIGHT MONTHS of JOB CREATION! Remember that day... January 3rd, 2007 was the day that Barney Frank took over the House Financial Services Committee and Chris Dodd took over the Senate Banking Committee. The economic meltdown that happened 15 months later was in what part of the economy? BANKING AND FINANCIAL SERVICES! In that first year, they had to contend with George Bush, which caused them to compromise on spending, when Bush somewhat belatedly got tough on spending increases. For 2009 though, Nancy Pelosi & Harry Reid bypassed George Bush entirely, passing continuing resolutions to keep government running until Barack Obama could take office. At that time, they passed a massive omnibus spending bill to complete the 2009 budget. And where was Barack Obama during this time? He was a member of that very Congress that passed all of these massive spending bills, and he signed the omnibus bill as President to complete 2009. Let's remember what the deficits looked like during that period: If the Democrats inherited any deficit, it was the 2007 deficit, the last of the Republican budgets.That deficit was the lowest in five years, and the fourth straight decline in deficit spending. After that, Democrats in Congress took control of spending, and that includes Barack Obama, who voted for the budgets. If Obama inherited anything, he inherited it from himself. In a nutshell, what Obama is saying is "I inherited a deficit that I voted for, And then I voted to expand that deficit four-fold since January 20th." There is no way this will be widely publicized, unless each of us sends it on!
