Global Research Insight for Development (GRID) is pleased to announce a One Day Workshop on “New General Sales Tax (GST) Regime: Scope, Limits and Implications” on 25th May 2011, at Hotel Margala, Islamabad. The workshop aims to provide detailed insights into the GST mechanism and enhance the evidence base for corporate decisions while helping participants plan for changes in GST in advance to protect and secure their firm’s interests.
The workshop shall combine both legal and practical aspects of the new GST regime while focusing on compliance issues to ensure deep-seated learning and to foster group interaction that encourages maximum participation. The participants will get detailed overviews of filing, returns and assessment and will discuss issues related to the salient features of the new GST regime. More importantly, the participants will be informed about how to interpret and incorporate the impacts of the new GST regime into their tax planning and budgeting for the upcoming financial year.
