Breaking News Alert The New York Times Tue, January 25, 2011 -- 1:52 PM ET ----- Illinois Supreme Court Halts Printing of Chicago Mayoral Ballots Without Emanuel's Name The Illinois Supreme Court on Tuesday ordered Rahm Emanuel's name back on the ballot, a day after an appellate court ruled him ineligible to run for mayor of Chicago, and told election officials not to print any ballots that exclude Mr. Emanuel's name. The Court did not rule on other matters, including whether it will actually hear an appeal in the case, which challenged Mr. Emanuel's legal residency in Chicago. Some analysts, though, said the stay of the lower court ruling suggested that the Supreme Court's seven justices were at least considering it. On Monday, a panel of the Illinois Appellate Court ruled that Mr. Emanuel's time as White House chief of staff - a post he left last October -- meant he did not meet a state stipulation to having lived in the city for a year before Election Day, and that he would not appear on the Feb. 22 ballot. Re: Manning at Quantico

If Manning was involved at all in preparing briefing books for the
generals, politicians, president, etc, then he would have access. I did
when I was involved in that back in the Kennedy era. All the various
intel agencies form NSA, State, CIA, DIA, the different military groups
all shared intel so that a good summation of the intel could be brought
together. Then each agency prepared briefing books based on all the
intel as it pertained to them. Therefore Manning could have gotten
access if he were working in that group. I had access because I
processed a lot of the intel as it pertained to the Army and I also
typed up the briefing books for the officer I worked with who did the
briefings.

Just got Important Letter from General Petraeus
Greetings,

This letter from COMISAF (Commander ISAF = General Petraeus) is to the troops regarding progress of the war.  A senior staff member just sent it saying it's hot of the press.

This short letter is well worth your time.

 A little long winded, but a good article nevertheless.....A shame that more "progressives" and far left extremists like Lil' Tommie don't read such articles;

I have added a new article to my blog entitled:  "The Rhetoric of Anger"

This is my personal take on all the recent uproar over the subject of
swearing off the rhetoric of violence, and if I do say so myself, I
think it is one of my better pieces.  I hope you enjoy it.
