Ron Pauls Peace & Freedom Message vs. Republican Establishment
Ron Paul's Peace & Freedom Message vs. Republican Establishment

Ron Paul has won many of the Republican Party straw polls over the past six months. But during the last 3 televised Republican debates, Paul received less than 19 minutes to expound and defend his views - less time than any other candidate. This is shabby even by Republican standards.
At a time when the American people are finally waking up the frauds of the Federal Reserve and to the federal government is driving the economy into a ditch, the mainstream media is working harder than ever to siderail Ron Paul's campaign and message.
At a time when Obama is launching military assaults in new countries on practically a monthly basis (the Uganda nonsense is almost beyond belief), Ron Paul is the only Republican calling for a radical break with recent American bellicosity.
At a time when the Obama administration is practically boasting about its new entitlement to kill Americans without a federal trial, Ron Paul has been the most eloquent Republican to condemn this assassination-by-secret-presidential-memo policy. Ron Paul suggested that Obama's action might be an impeachable offense. In contrast, Newt Gingrich -- the media's favorite "deep thinker" Republican candidate -- said that "due process of law" had been satisfied simply because Obama signed the secret order authorizing the killing.
Since Paul re-entered Congress in 1996, he has by far the best civil liberties record of any Republican on the Hill. If Republicans want to appear to be something other than a party devoted to maximizing corporate profits, they should give Paul their ears.
Is the Republican Party on a suicide mission, hellbent on nominating someone who will perpetuate almost all the failed policies of the past?
Americans deserve better.
