Rupert is married to a Chinese woman half his age that screwed her way
to the top.

He probably had that reporter murdered for exposing his phone hacking
activities also.

Him and his wife are modern mafia types.
He's a godfather, albeit much more evil.

He'll get what's coming to him soon enough.
