دل کی بستی کے چلو آج سفیروں سے ملیں
آو الفت میں گرفتار اسیروں سے ملیں

ہونے والا ہے جو شائد کہ پتا چل جائے
اپنے ہاتھوں میں سجی آج لکیروں سے ملیں

چل چلیں خاک میں لپٹی ہوئی بستی کی طرف
شان دیکھی ہے بہت آج فقیروں سے ملیں

ہر طرف تیرگی پھیلی ہے جہاں تک دیکھو
کچھ اُجالا ہی کریں آو منیروں سے ملیں

غور کر لیں کے ہمارے لئے بہتر کیا ہے
بات آئے نہ سمجھ میں تو مشیروں سے ملیں

دشمنوں سے تو توقع ہی نہیں کر سکتے
ہے بھلائی کی تمنا تو ظہیروں سے ملیں

اُن کے بس کا یہ نہیں روگ یقینا اظہر
وقت ظائع نہ کریں آپ قدیروں سے ملیں


Dil ki basti kay chalo aj safeeron say milain
Aao ulfet main giraftar aseeron say milain

Honay wala hai jo shayed ke pata chal jayay
Apnay hathon main saji aj lakeeron say milain

Chal chalain khak main lipti hui basti ki taraf
Shan dekhi hai bohat, aj faqeeron say milain

Her taraf teeragi phaili hai jahan tuk dekho
Kuch Ujala hi karain aao muneeron say milain

Ghaur ker lain ke hamaray liay behter kia hai
Bat ayay na samajh main to musheeron say milain

Dushmanon say to tawaqaa hi nahin kar saktay
Hai bhalai ki tamanna to zaheeron say milain

Un kay bus ka yeh nahin rog yaqeenan azhar
Wqat zaiy na karain ap qadeeron say milain
