Your efforts at reducing spending are applaud-able, but according to your figures, all you did was undo what was done by the House before you, of which you were a member. But it looks good on paper. There is a large problem with HR2, though. Namely, there is NO legislation titled "the Job-Killing Health Care Law Act". If you (the House) were referring to the recently passed healthcare legislation, then YOU should know the name of it, and THAT ain't it.
On the 'so called stimulus, voting against it was the right move, but only part of the right move. Did you point out at the time that there were serious flaws with it? Did you point out that there was no oversight? Too late now.
As for the FCC and their regulations, where in the Constitution is the United States governments authorized to regulate communication in any form? IF you bring up the 'commerce clause', i remind you that that affects governments and commerce between governments, not between citizens, and not between states but "and among the several states" which means any or all of the states inclusive as one when dealing with other "foreign Nations, ... and with the Indian Tribes".
I also notice that you voted to extend the sunsetting portions of the so-called 'Patriot Act'. This entire act is based on what, please, in the Constitution?
