I am definitely NOT a Patriot. I am NOT that fanatical about anything.
I would however call myself a staunch supporter of the USA that was,
could and should be but is not.

Unfortunately, just like religious doctrine, political doctrine
becomes twisted with unintended and never imagined ideology. Over time
and only when sufficient people die or are completely disenfranchised
do things change.

So NO, Patriot is not a word I would use.
