And here is a classic example of how the media has treated Ms. Obama with kid gloves, as compared to other First Ladies like Laura Bush, Barbara Bush, and Nancy Reagan. A totally different standard is applied, not only with fashion, but with most everything. Where the Bush women and Reagan were harshly criticized, Ms. Obama has had a cake walk, this article is but one example.

Totally agree. My friends all pass around the photos of her and comment on how lousy her fashion sense is. I have zero interest in fashion and even I can see that she has less fashion sense than even I do - and that is really bad. I think she must be color blind as well.

Michelle Obama has as much fashion sense as Liza Minnelli ! With her
roly poly butt and man like arms she is hardly a picture of grace.

All the articles about her dress mostly say she has execrable taste
in fashion and needs major help in that area. If you look back over
what she has worn in the past 2 years they are right. Terrible taste
in clothes. She has the basics to dress well but just does not seem to
follow through on it. When she nails it, and she does sometimes, she
really nails it. On the other hand when she wears something like that
thing she wore to the inaugural that looked like wadded up toilet
tissue, it is a huge miss and her casual clothes are in terrible taste. No color sense and no sense of what to wear for the various occasions. Generally the first lady has people who help her coordinate what she
wears for the occasion. Michelle has the staff for this but apparently
has not hired anyone who can do the job.
