Does anyone else laugh when hearing the latest rounds of gun control talk coming from the Democrats? These anti-2nd amendment liberals, on one hand, are screaming for more gun control while demanding more security for themselves. This is ironic, and hypocritical, since these Democrats want to limit our abilities to protect ourselves while demanding armed security (men with guns) to protect them.

Liberal-controlled cities have suffered for years under these same anti-2nd amendment loon's ideology. They crafted gun control laws in the name of 'protecting' their constituents but in reality gun control only affects the law-abiding citizens of any city. Criminals never worry about gun laws that are on the books and one can look to cities with strict gun control laws and see the truth.

More gun control equals higher crime rates. Don't take my words as the truth. Research the crimes rates across the United States and you will see the same conclusion. Chicago, Detroit, New Orleans, Philadelphia, and Washington, DC all have some of the strictest gun control laws on the books, and even outlaw handguns inside the city limits, yet all of them have some of the highest crime rates in the country. Also, all have been under the rule of liberals for several decades.

Washington, DC was nicknamed "Murder Capital of the World" due to its high rate of crimes. It also has some of the strictest guns laws, up until the Supreme Court ruled against the city's handgun ban (Heller v. DC). The only individuals who were protected by armed security were the President and politicians.

The crime in Chicago is so bad, local law makers wanted the National Guard to come in and protect the citizens. Chicago also had a handgun ban that didn't permit law-abiding citizens to have a handgun inside their house if it was inside the city limits. Thankfully, the Supreme Court ruled this was a violation of the 2nd Amendment (McDonald v. Chicago). The Mayor of Chicago, Richard Daley, is an ardent anti-2nd amendment, gun control loon. Unless a gun is used to protect him, which it does, since Daley has 24 hours a day armed security.

Now we are witnessing these same sort of anti-2nd amendment Democrats, hell-bent on gun control, using the assassination attempt on Rep. Gabrielle Giffords (D-AZ) to push new gun control legislation and legislation to protect members of Congress. This is the elitist mentality these left-wing loons have. They have no problem with guns that are used to protect them. They have a huge problem with law-abiding citizens using these same guns to protect themselves.

Hypocrisy 101.

As if this attack upon the 2nd amendment isn't bad enough, these same Democrats want to infringe on your 1st Amendment rights as well by limiting political speach and symbols.
