Re: Arlen Specter say's GOP a party of cannibals

Actually he was gaming the system when he was a Republican as well. He
decided that since Clinton lost hthe support of the country in 1994
election he should change his affiliation; not his positions or ethics,
just his affiliation. He was not trusted then by the general public.
Nothing he has done since changed that. The Republicans did not trust
him then or now and with good reason. If they had, then he would have
been the majority leader. Obviously that did not happen. The Democrats
have a larger tent; they have no standards and will take anyone who will
show up no matter what. He obviously found a home there.
