That's only a small part of the Dream act.  I don't see any reason why an illegal alien should become a citizen simply by getting a college degree at taxpayers' expense.

There is a big difference between getting an education and putting one's life in mortal danger.  One comes with a 7/11, Dr. Pepper, warm bed and breakfast, shopping, birds singing, and a well equipped hospital close by.  The other from a 9/11, medics, heavy body armor, sweat, crowded living conditions, terrorists hiding around the corner, explosions, blood, body parts hurling through the air, and medical care is a helicopter ride away... if lucky enough not to be shot down by missiles itself.

There is no comparison for the easy way.  It's a cop out to amnesty without contributing to the well being of our nation first.

Better than piggy backing it with defense appropriations and DADT.

I don't have a problem with illegals serving in our military as a path
to citizenship.  Serve our country, and its your country.
