Fascist / Communist / Socialist...or what?

It always seems to me that peopel throw out these labels and usually
get them confused...
Maybe if they thoufght to try to define them as a combination of
Government/ Economy types, they (we) could all arrive at an
understanding of basic terms. Here's how I prefer ro think about it...
by contraries and contradictories.

(FASCISM)........................(E.U. Socialism)
Totalitarian / Capitalism......Democratic / Marxism

(COMMUNISM)..................(U.S. whatever)
Totalitarian / Marxism.........Democratic / Capitalism

Of course, these are only generalised points in a continuum.....
there are tendencies pulling toward other poles in all countries or
places.
