**JP** Letter to Editor - Gay Lesbian Ceremony

Dear Join Pakistan

LETTER TO EDITOR

July 3rd, 2011

Gay Lesbian Ceremony

USembassy Islamabad reportedly held a “Gay, Lesbian Bisexual and Transgender (GLBT) Pride Celebration” ceremony on June 26th 2011 to show Washington’s support and solidarity towards the GLBTs of Pakistan. Could there be anything more stupid than this for the USA to do in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, where such homosexuality is not only looked down upon with utmost scorn and contempt but also considered an awful sin?  How many GLBTs would be in Pakistan?  Not even Zero Zero One per cent.  And for that miniscule number the USA took the risk of antagonising 99.99 percent people of Pakistan! Could the embassy not foresee the negative impact of  such a function on the US-Pak relations which are already not very congenial? One simply fails to understand if the event was held out of sheer ignorance or by design – in any case both being highly unwise, undiplomatic and unwarranted.

Military Discount at Lowes

Stopped by Lowes the other day to pick up and few odds and ends. Total
bill came to about twenty bucks. At register, requested the military
discount. I am a sixty year old Vietnam Vet of pure Irish heritage
naturally born in this country. The cashier asked to see my military
ID. I do not have a military ID and to be honest would not want to go
through the trouble and effort of securing one. I relayed this
information to cashier and he denied my discount. Now discount was
only a couple of bucks and that is certainly no big deal. But here is
the best part. The cashier was obviously born in India, Pakistan or
regional country. He was difficult to understand. No problem with
that, he will get better. But, for a gentleman who obviously came to
this country using the very freedoms I helped secure for him, and then
have the audacity to deny me?

Just one more indication leading to the eventual erosion of all that
was accomplished to make the USA such a special place.

**JP** Pakistan issues 67 visas for CIA agents: report

IRNA - Islamic Republic News Agency

Islamabad,

IRNA -- The Pakistan Embassy in Washington has issued 67 visas to CIA officials for deployment in Pakistan, a leading Pakistani daily reported on Thursday.

The decision followed an understanding between the two governments on CIA deployments and postings in Pakistan, Dawn newspaper reported.

"Under the new arrangement, the CIA has accepted Islamabad's demand that all intelligence postings in the country should be fully disclosed, and shared with the Pakistani government," the paper quoted sources as saying.

"Pakistan agreed to issue the visas only after an understanding on full disclosures."

The agreement was reached after talks in Islamabad earlier this month between ISI chief Lt-Gen Ahmed Shuja Pasha and top CIA officials, including CIA Director Leon Panetta.

"Now the ISI will be fully aware of who is doing what and where he is posted at," a diplomatic source said. "There will be no room for misunderstanding and suspicions.

Relations between the CIA and Pakistan's major spy agency, ISI, soured over several issues especially over the arrest of a CIA undercover agent, Raymond Davis, in February who had killed two Pakistanis in the city of Lahore.

After Davis was proved to be a CIA agent, Islamabad then asked the CIA to provide information about the number and activities of its agents in Pakistan.

Relations reached at the lowest ebb when the US military helicopters conducted unilateral operation and killed Osama bin Laden in Abbotabad on May 2.

Days after Osama's murder, the US media reported that the CIA had established its center in Abbotabad for spying on the compound where Osama was killed.

Opposition religious and political parties had mounted pressure on the government to expel the CIA agents from Pakistan.

The reports about visas to CIA agents may spark protest in Pakistan.

**JP** Freeing ourselves from the evil embrace of the world bully!!!!!

These are the events that Pakistan has to face as it tries to free itself from the clutches of the "bankrupt world bully" , as the article names it. The sooner we free ourselves the better it is. This is like the famous story of the camel whom the Bedouin helped and allowed his face to be inside his tent, and slowly the camel was in the tent and the Bedouin outside. Such creatures do not deserve any help!
There are still some fools in our media and in our political filth that promotes friendship with such bullies...

Pak-US: Withdrawal symptoms

The controversy around the Shamsi airbase indicates the kind of problems Pakistan is likely to face as it tries to redefine its terms of engagement with the United States. While Defence Minister Ahmed Mukhtar announced last week that the US had been asked to vacate the airbase, foreign news agencies quoted unnamed US officials as saying that the US does not plan to do any such thing. Adding confusion to the controversy, Federal Information Minister Firdous Ashiq Awan declared that the Defence Committee of the Cabinet had not taken any decision asking the US to vacate the base and that the ISPR would know better. What are we to understand from these conflicting statements? As it is, freeing ourselves from the evil embrace of the United States is not an easy task. Ministers like Firdous Awan and Rehman Malik are bound to make it more difficult with their erratic behaviour and irresponsible statements.
In the present controversy, though nothing official has come out of the United States so far, it is obvious that the global bully is reluctant to leave the Shamsi airbase. This is confirmed by the planted leaks in the Western media on the issue attributed to unnamed officials. Naturally, which bully would allow the victim to free itself from the oppressive clutches that tie it down? As Pakistan attempts to bring some sense to the Pak-US relationship and scale down the meddlesome and extensive involvement of the global bully in the country, the US is expected to resist such efforts in every possible way and try to further expand rather than trim down its shady presence on our soil. The threats disguised as friendly lectures from an ally are fast losing their colourful clothes, and assuming the form of naked threats from an enemy. The evil superpower would like us to believe that, like Afghanistan next door, we are under its occupation.
What else is one to deduce from its refusal to leave the Shamsi airbase, despite being told that it is no longer welcome. According to the Defence Minister, the US had been told to leave the base even before its unlawful May 2 Abbottabad raid, and the demand had again been communicated in the aftermath of the raid. So, why are they still there? If they were foot-dragging before, the present statements attributed to unnamed officials and flashed through the Western media send a new message: Even if Pakistan wants us out of its airbase, we will stay on. Of course, the US government cannot say so openly in so many words. But actions speak louder than words and the fact is that it is still there months after being told to leave. As if this was not bad enough, it is sending messages through its embedded media and unnamed officials that it had no intention to leave either, whatever Pakistan's wishes or demands.

**JP** these are the times we all will see in Pakistan - as we can see - prepare!!!

These are the times in Pakistan, and things that are about to come. Now is the time to learn and know who is our enemies and what we are supposed to be doing. Those who stand in the right path will see themselves among the leaders in heaven (inshallah) and those who chose to be the tools of the dajjal, tools of the khurafati democracy/dictatorship will find themselves among their own leaders....this is an era of the worst kind of leadership, napak filth in our politics and agents of dajjal in our media....the outcome is very predictable, and in this change that we have prepared for ourselves, many will see their wealth (that they have accumulated on the blood of the poor) will be wiped out in days....their black faces you will see....the corrupt system is ready to fall on itself, and Pakistan will rise from this mess, inshallah...watch it and prepare....and protect yourself from filth and join those who are the successful....

He's deceiving us....

I didn't apply....

If I did, I wouldn't pick "Community Organizer" as
a course. With Obama, it's "Communism Organizer".

At least I know how many states there are. And it ain't
57. Search "Obama's gaffes". A Harvard Grad? He got
in because of Affirmative Action.....

He gets tongue tied if the teleprompter goes out. I think
the guy is brainless. He is the enemy within. Committing
treason. We need to take up arms against him. I'm
surprised he hasn't been assassinated by now. He is a
mad, wild ass, dictatorial, pompous, arrogant, self centered,

('wild ass', see Genesis 16) <jewishvirtuallibrary.org>

He's regulating all incandescent lights, illegal, 1/1/2012.
Destroying jobs. I'm stocking up on 100 WATT bulbs.
Soft White. He'll probably order the Military and or, the
National Guard, to do a house to house search....

Obama, speaking to a crowd of Mexicans, joked....
"If they could, they would build a higher fence, a wall
and a moat on the border. Filling the moat with alligators."
(I'd go for Piranha)

He didn't mention all the shovel jobs it would entail. I
think it's a good idea. Build it one quarter mile from the
border, wall first. Get the National Guard home. They
are not the "International Guard". Have them patrol the
1/4 mile stretch as the wall is being constructed....
(No illegals need apply)

Boy....that would get the economy back on track. Like
the WPA project did....and we're at war....so what's the
problem. It should be done for Home Land Security......

Housing and private businesses. Maybe even a hospital
would be constructed for those working on the project.

One three letter word, "JOBS". Lots, for all trades and
non trades....

Vote me for President. I'm an independent....very....

I won't stack my cabinet with super rich Communist cronies.

One other thing. The mainstream tout Obama as the first
Black African to be elected President. Shouldn't he be
called the first Mulatto African to be elected President?

Am I stupid or something for thinking that? They color him
black. He himself said he is a mongrel....

So..
He is the first Mongrel African, to be elected President....

OOFA....
There is a hierarcy at play upon the Earth....
Isalm, Judaism, and Crop Markings, are a part of it.....

141 White House staffers make six figures

 @CNNMoney July 1, 2011: 6:22 PM ET
white-house-money.gi.top.jpg

NEW YORK (CNNMoney) -- One out of every three White House employees makes at least $100,000 a year, according to data released by the White House on Friday.

Top earners pull down a salary of $172,200 a year, while three employees have a salary of $0. Most staffers fall somewhere in the middle.

The average salary is $81,765 a year, while the median employee salary is $70,000. The lowest full time salary is $41,000 a year.

The list is a little top heavy, with 21 sharing the title of top earner. But the names at the top are among the most recognizable the White House has to offer.

White House Press Secretary Jay Carney makes $172,200, as does counterterrorism adviser John Brennan, speechwriter Jon Favreau, adviser David Plouffe and Chief of Staff Bill Daley.

While that's well above the national average, White House staffers often command far more lucrative salaries in the private sector -- and some gave them up to work for Obama.

Congressional loot: What's Nancy Pelosi worth?

Plouffe, for example, walked away from a $1.5 million salary as a consultant at Plouffe Strategies when he joined the administration.

Records also show that Daley, former Midwest chairman and head of corporate responsibility at JPMorgan (JPMFortune 500), raked in $8.7 million from the bank in 2010, including a $675,000 salary and $4.8 million bonus.

Obama himself earns $400,000, double the $200,000 President Clinton earned annually during his eight years in office. The president's pay hike went into effect during the presidency of George W. Bush.

In total, the 454 White House staffers earn a payroll of $37,121,463. To top of page

Actually,  I tend to agree with the HOA.  If I understand the article, which doesn't really go into much detail, the HOA blocked the building of the home, because of fear that the home would lower property values.....I understand that, and if I lived in the neighborhood,  I too would object if someone was attempting to put a mobile home in my neighborhood....I know that is a stretch, but without knowing more,  I understand at least the issue....
