Clarence Dupnik's Death Squad

Clarence Dupnik's Death Squad
http://freedominourtime.blogspot.com/2011/06/clarence-dupniks-death-squad.html

"Jose was never charged with a crime. In a previous encounter with police he consented to a search of his vehicle. In an separate traffic stop, Jose was a passenger in a car in which police found a handgun and a trivial amount of marijuana; he was arrested and subsequently released without being charged with a crime. He was an honorably discharged Marine combat veteran and -- of infinitely greater importance -- a gainfully employed, married father of two children.

"There's no reason to believe that anything other than a conventional search warrant -- served by officers who aren't kitted out in paramilitary drag, who knock on the door, identify themselves, and display the document in question before gaining entry -- was either necessary or appropriate. This could have been done with minimal risk to everyone involved."

Keep those regulations and mandates coming !!!! The third world
nations thank you !!!!!!
---
they also thank us for the technology we give them to produce the
products

related:
President Obama wants to give Russia our missile defense secrets
because he believes that we can buy their friendship and cooperation
with this taxpayer-funded gift. But giving military secrets and
technologies to a rival or competitor like Russia is just plain dumb.
You can't buy off Russia. And giving them advanced military technology
will not create stability. What happens if Russia gives this
technology (or sells it!) to other countries like Iran or China? After
all, as Woolsey points out, Russia helped Iran with its missile and
nuclear programs. Or what happens if an even more hardline leader
comes to power in the Kremlin?

We tried buying off the Kremlin with technologies in the 1970s. That
policy was a component of "detente," and the hope was that if we would
share our technologies with them, they would become more peaceful.
Things, of course, didn't work out that way. The Kremlin took western
technologies and embarked on a massive military building program.
History teaches that peace comes from American military strength. And
a central component of that has always been technological superiority.
Why would President Obama even dream of giving this away?

Members of Congress saw how foolish President Obama's gambit was, so
they put a section in the defense appropriation bill that specifically
forbids the federal government from spending money to share these
technologies with the Kremlin. President Obama actually threatened to
veto the defense appropriation bill over this section of the law!
Fortunately, the House passed the bill with a veto-proof majority, a
whopping 322 to 96. Attention now turns to the Senate.

Why is it that President Obama seems to work so hard to give things to
our enemies, while at the same time asking friends and allies like
Israel to make sacrifices?

During these tough economic times when we are facing massive deficits
and a competitive global economy, does President Obama really want to
give away technologies that the American taxpayer paid lots of money
to develop? Giving away our missile defense secrets won't make us
safer. What it will do is create a situation where we are facing an
arms race with ourselves. Russia gets access to our technologies, and
we are forced to spend even more money because of the need to stay
ahead.

Ends And Means: Suicide Is Not A Medical Procedure

Ends And Means: Suicide Is Not A Medical Procedure

Jacob Sullum | June 8, 2011

Jack Kevorkian's first suicide machine, which he called the Thanatron, delivered the same three chemicals commonly used to execute condemned prisoners: the barbiturate sodium thiopental to induce sleep, pancuronium bromide to paralyze the muscles, and sodium chloride to stop the heart. After his medical license was suspended in 1991, Kevorkian had trouble obtaining the drugs, so he switched to the Mercitron, a mask attached to a tank of carbon monoxide.

In both cases, death was a favor that Kevorkian, who proudly eschewed payment for his services, dispensed to people who convinced him they had good reasons for wanting to die. By contrast, the suicide kits that Sharlotte Hydorn sold from her home in El Cajon, California, were available to anyone with $60 and a mailing address. Unfortunately, to the extent that the government recognizes a right to suicide, it takes its cues from Kevorkian, who died last Friday at the age of 83, rather than Hydorn, a 91-year-old entrepreneur whose business was shut down by the FBI the week before.

Kevorkian, a retired Michigan pathologist, helped about 130 people suffering from terminal or debilitating and incurable diseases kill themselves between 1990 and 1998, when he crossed the line between suicide assistance and euthanasia by directly administering lethal drugs to a man with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. Convicted of second-degree murder, Kevorkian served eight years in prison.

Yet the man whom the American Medical Association called "a reckless instrument of death" pointed the way to physician-assisted suicide, which has been legalized in three states and recognized by the U.S. Supreme Court as a legitimate medical treatment. Oregon's Death With Dignity Act, approved by voters in 1994, allows a patient to kill himself with doctor-prescribed barbiturates if two physicians certify that he has six months or less to live, he is deemed free of any "psychiatric or psychological disorder" that might impair his judgment, and he makes two requests separated by at least 15 days.

In 2006 the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that Oregon physicians who prescribe drugs for suicide cannot be prosecuted under the federal Controlled Substances Act (which requires a doctor's permission slip to purchase the drugs that are most suitable for this purpose). A 2008 ballot initiative created a similar system in Washington state, and a 2009 ruling by the Montana Supreme Court likewise allows doctors to help patients with terminal illnesses hasten their deaths.

Suicide assistance is so well established as the province of state-licensed physicians that the FBI is investigating Sharlotte Hydorn for selling "adulterated and misbranded medical devices"—i.e., elasticized plastic bags and plastic tubing that can be attached to a helium tank (sold separately) for a painless death by asphyxiation. The FBI, which raided Hydorn's home two weeks ago and carted away her merchandise, her sewing machine, and her computers, is also considering charges of mail and wire fraud.

Contrary to the common-sense understanding of fraud, the problem with Hydorn's kits, from the government's perspective, is that they work as advertised. That might be OK for a properly vetted, legally approved suicide authorized by medical professionals, but not for the do-it-yourself variety that Hydorn facilitated. If the government allowed that sort of thing, people might start to get the idea that they have a right to control their own lives.

Hydorn, who started her business after watching her husband suffer a painful, lingering death from colon cancer, says her aim is to help people escape unbearable suffering. Her critics object that what seems unbearable one day may not look so bad the next. "You have to make sure they don't want to end their life because they are depressed," a psychiatrist recently told ABC News, "because depression is treatable."

That stance may sound cautious and compassionate, but it effectively strips people of the autonomy to decide for themselves when their lives are worth living. Suicide is not a medical procedure, and doctors have no special expertise to determine when it is the right choice.

The Obama Touch: Restaurant that Obama claimed was saved by his stimulus is now going out of business

The Obama Touch: Restaurant that Obama claimed was saved by his stimulus is now going out of business

The Obama touch continues. Anything Obama picks, or claims a success, always ends in failure.

From Fox19.com:

TOLEDO, Ohio (AP) - An Ohio restaurant mentioned last week by President Barack Obama as an indirect beneficiary of the government's Chrysler bailout will go out of business Sunday after a more than 70-year history.

Co-owner Richard Lawrence of New Chet's Restaurant in Toledo says business has fallen victim to the economy and the workplace smoking ban approved by Ohio voters in 2006. He told The Blade newspaper of Toledo on Wednesday that auto industry cutbacks also hurt.

Lawrence says he used to deliver up to $300 in food per week to Chrysler Group LLC's Jeep plant in Toledo, but now that's down to about $100 worth.

Obama visited the plant on Friday and told workers that without them, who would eat at Chet's or patronize other local businesses?

Another Advisory Board: Obama to create "White House Rural Council"

Another Advisory Board: Obama to create "White House Rural Council"

Another "board" to give Obama recommendations on how to do his job. This is what happens when you elect a Senator who was known to vote "present."

From Townhall.com:

President Barack Obama plans to create a special advisory council to recommend ways to boost the economic outlook and quality of life for the estimated 60 million people who live in rural areas of the U.S., a White House official said.

Obama was expected to sign an executive order Thursday establishing the White House Rural Council and naming Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack, of Iowa, to be its chairman.

The official asked not to be identified in order to speak freely before a formal White House announcement about the council.

The panel will be responsible for providing recommendations to the president on investment in rural areas, as well as coordinating with a variety of rural interests, including agricultural groups, small businesses, and state, local and tribal governments.

It will focus on 10 areas that affect nearly one-fifth of the U.S. population of 308 million. But the panel's initial focus will be on job creation and economic development.

Another board to waste taxpayer dollars another board that Obama ignores. Keep voting "present," Mr. President.

Democrats, and the Dead, will hate this: 75% Support Showing Photo IDs at Polls

Democrats, and the Dead, will hate this: 75% Support Showing Photo IDs at Polls

Scotty Starnes | June 9, 2011 at 10:28 AM | Tags: Debbie Wasserman-Shultz, Jim Crow, Photo ID, voter ID | Categories: Political Issues | URL: http://wp.me/pvnFC-5ql

This will stop the dead and illegals, who typically vote for Democrats.

From Rasmussen Reports:

Support remains high for requiring voters to show photo identification before being allowed to cast their ballots. An increasing number of states across the country are putting that requirement into law.

DNC Chief, Debbie Wasserman-Shultz (D-FL) thinks this takes us back to the days of Jim Crow laws. Democrats know a lot about Jim Crow laws since it was their party who used them to segregate blacks.

A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 75% of Likely U.S. Voters believe voters should be required to show photo identification such as a driver's license before being allowed to vote. Just 18% disagree and oppose such a requirement. (To see survey question wording, click here.)

Eighty-five percent (85%) of Republicans support a photo ID requirement at the polls, as do 77% of voters not affiliated with either major party and 63% of Democrats. But then support for such a law is high across virtually all demographic groups.

Supporters of photo ID laws say they will prevent fraud at the polls; opponents insist the laws will discourage many including minorities and older Americans from voting.

Does showing an ID stop these groups from cashing a check or flying on an airplane? You have to show ID to do both of these things.

By a 48% to 29% margin, voters think that letting ineligible people vote is a bigger problem than preventing legitimate voters from casting a ballot.

A plurality (46%) of Democrats thinks it's more common for eligible voters to be denied their right to vote. Seventy-two percent (72%) of Republicans and a plurality (44%) of voters not affiliated with either party, on the other hand, believe that illegal voting is more prevalent.

Only one percent (1%) say they have ever been illegally denied the right to vote.

Re: Keith In Köln, please explain Germany for us

Moe,

I, unlike Keith, am a citizen of Germany and pay no taxes there....even when I worked there. I have not been a resident registered at the or any "rathaus" since I was 22 Y/O. When there for temporary spurts and University I was working as a consultant in a "special" capacity that could not be filled by a German Resident and had stipendien von ausland for the Uni.

Germany has a three tiered citizenship status as well... one can be a German citizen without being a resident. One can be a resident without being a citizen. One can be both a citizen and resident. Only two of these qualify you for social benefits. You can lose your residency (and therefore all your social benefits) simply by changing your address and not reporting it to the local rathaus.

Being a citizen of Germany does not make one eligible to receive health benefits under the socialized health system... one must be a registered resident with a current "ausweis" as registered with the "rathaus" nearest your abode.

I also agree that Germany has a two tiered medical system. The socialized part is opted out of by anyone with an iota of money. (Why do they do this if the system has value?) One of my exes has a "private only" arzt praxis near Mainz and does very well. She does not treat (actually she does, see below) Moslems or Foreigners as they are her only source of unpaid bills. Her German clients are appreciative of the exclusion. She weeds them out by requiring payments be made by all patients before the service.. not after. Funny how that weeds out all the freeloaders that had no intent to pay. Since she instituted this "0" Moslems have come to her.(according to her brother, we still speak).

I must agree with Keith that there is around 50% unemployment among the cloistered groups... especially the moslems. One must have entered and been registered in the workforce to be listed as unemployed in Germany. One cannot be unemployed if one has never been employed.

And last.... It is obvious that you believe in the old saying
schwarzes Geld ist gutes Geld
For the rest that translates to Black money (under the table) is good money.

Talking about 50 percent unemployment among Turks and Russians is down
right false. Germany is a Sozial Markt Wirtschaft which means that the
people have some rights in the society. They have the right for
medical treatment. If you knew the country then you have learned how
to pay taxes here, without losing your shirt. Keith I would be willing
to bet that you are returning because he police have caught on to you.
Keith sounds like he has been chewing on the wrong weeds.

Obama regime rips off independent inventors with new patent bill that aids multinational corporate cronies

Patent Bill Would Hamper Physician-Inventors, Expert Says

Alert: While no one was watching, crony capitalists and multinational corporations and the Obama regime have slipped a patent law change in on you that may pass Congress. It will allow whoever files first for a patent to get it, as opposed to whomever can show they invented something first. As a result, independent inventors who have to figure out how to apply for a patent will be shut out by corporations with legal departments. Everyone from the unemployed, to small start up businesses that create jobs, to angel investors who profit from finding new opportunities, will be hurt.

A bill that passed the Senate and is now being debated in the House would hamper the ability of physicians and other small operations in obtaining patents for medical devices, according to Paul Ryan, CEO of Acacia Research, a Newport Beach, Calif., company that partners with inventors in the patenting process.

Mr. Ryan says the bill would fundamentally change the patent process for all inventions in favor of large companies that have the resources to get through a more complicated patent process. "The current system protects the little guy," he says. "It has favored the individual inventor. The proposed changes favor the big med tech and pharma companies."

Situation in Congress. The Senate overwhelmingly passed the America Invents Act in March by a vote of 95-5. "There was limited testimony and very little debate in the Senate," Mr. Ryan says. The Senate was looking to the House to examine the bill more closely. "The battle was always going to be in the House," Mr. Ryan says. The bill may fail, which was the fate of a similar patent bill last year, but he thinks the new version has a 50-50 chance of passage. But even though the bill represents a complete change the patent process, it has received very little media coverage. "Not may people are paying attention to it and this is very nuanced stuff," he says.

Some good news in the bill. The bill would alleviate the current 3.5-year backlog of patent applications by stopping Congress from diverting income from patent fees to other. Lack of funds means the Patent Office does not have the manpower to handle backlogged applications, now at 700,000. However, House Republican leaders recently called for changes in the new bill that would allow some of fee income to be diverted away from the Patent Office, according to the Wall Street Journal. Mr. Ryan opposes any diversion of funds. "The intelligent solution would be for Congress to agree to stop diverting the funds and leave the world's greatest patent system alone," he says.

Elimination of grace period for applicants. Meanwhile, the new bill would scrap the one-year grace period for an inventor to file an application. Currently, an inventor has one year from the day of conception to file. Without a grace period, Mr. Ryan says anyone who knows an inventor's plans could file ahead of him and get full rights. "Inventors would have no protection if they did not file and someone else filed ahead of them," he says. He adds that this open-ended approach, similar to Europe's current system, could double the number of patent applications and cause an even greater backlog.

Imposition of post-grant review. Under the bill, anyone who wanted to challenge a patent could file for post-grant review, which is not currently allowed. Mr. Ryan says a big company could tie up a patent in post-grant review for years and even bankrupt the small company with legal bills. "The post-grant review process would also create a huge diversion of patent-examiner time," he says. This would cause more delays in getting new inventions onto the market, he says. In Europe, which already has post-grant review, a San Francisco company's European patent was held up for more than 10 years, he says.

Specific impact on physician-inventors. Without a grace period, physician-inventors would be forced to file "a half-baked application" before they even had a clear idea of what it ought to be, Mr. Ryan says. If inventors choose not to file right away, they would have to be careful about what they said publicly about the invention, because anyone could file the application and gain control of the invention.

"This is a problem for the whole scientific inquiry process, where you share your idea in journals and forums and welcome others to criticize it," Mr. Ryan says. For this reason, "universities are going to have a very tough time." Lack of a grace period would also make financing more difficult. "With no grace period, the inventor-surgeon also couldn't go to venture capitalists for money," he says.
