Interesting article on who is moving where and from where
With this one, if you click on clear lines and then click on a county
you can see how many are mving and where to. Then if you click on a
particular line it will tell you movement from that other county to this
one or vice versa. Interesting to see where people move. For instance
Knox County, Ohio (my home county) people are moving to Cass County, AZ,
Dayton, Cincinnati Toledo and to a couple of local counties in Ohio,
Atlanta and 3 counties in Florida. Nobody moved to California.
It also seems as if people from the central midwest are staying in their
home states. Most of them are not moving out of state nor are a lot
moving in. The patterns are interesting. Not at all what I would have
expected.

Why Felipe Calderon hates Arizona's anti-illegal immigration law
$50 billion per year in illegal drug smuggling
Why Felipe Calderon hates Arizona's anti-illegal immigration law
By Klaus Rohrich Thursday, June 17, 2010
When Arizona's tough new anti-immigration legislation was signed into law by Gov. Jan Brewer the Mexican government took grave exception. Mexican President Felipe Calderon called the law and affront to human rights and accused Arizona of opening "the door to unacceptable racial discrimination." The Mexican congress wasn't far behind, using words such as "fascist," "racist," as well as "a perverse…law that generates hate."
Having spent a fair bit of time in Mexico in the past, I am surprised that the Mexican government would show so much concern for the rights of its citizens abroad. Given that the Mexican government in general does not appear to be overly concerned about anyone's rights, it's curious that Mexican politicians would be crying crocodile tears about Mexicans living in the US. Or could it be that there is another reason? How about $50 billion per year in illegal drug smuggling?
That's what currently passes across the border between the US and Mexico every single year and of late evidence has come to light that this is being done with the express approval of the Mexican government.
Currently Mexico is home to seven large and very violent drug cartels, among them the Sinaloa cartel, which is reputed to be the country's most powerful criminal organization, the Juarez cartel, La Familia, as well as others. The internecine warfare between the various cartels and police have left thousands of people dead and have resulted in a reduction of tourists seeking fun in the Mexican sun.
In the city of Juarez, which lies directly across the Rio Grande from El Paso, Texas, on average seven people are murdered every night. In fact, over 5,300 people have met violent deaths in that city over the past two years alone.
Mexican army as well as the Mexican police were actually assisting the Sinaloa cartel in its efforts to defeat the Juarez cartel
The recent trial in El Paso of one of the Sinaloa cartel's top capos revealed that both the Mexican army as well as the Mexican police were actually assisting the Sinaloa cartel in its efforts to defeat the Juarez cartel. In testimony given by Jesus Manuel Fierro-Mendez, a former Mexican police captain sentenced to 27 years in prison in 2008, he told the court that he took control of a unit of the Mexican army in order to defeat the Juarez cartel so that the Sinaloa cartel could take complete control. Fierro-Mendez explained that by reducing the number of cartels in Mexico it would enable the Mexican government to eliminate them once and for all.
But a recent joint investigation by American and Canadian journalists has determined that there are elements within the Mexican government that have absolutely no intention of stopping the cartels. And with $50 billion in annual revenue at stake it's a small wonder.
Anabel Hernandes, a Mexican reporter currently working on a book about the cartels says that the government of Mexico has in effect become the cartel's muscle. She charges that the Sinaloa cartel has been under the protection of the Mexican government for over nine years. If the Sinaloa cartel and the Mexican government are successful in wiping out the other cartels, it will make Sinaloa the largest and most powerful criminal organization in the Americas. To this end she claims that many of Mexico's top politicians get their campaign funding from the Sinaloa cartel, which could go a long way toward explaining why Felipe Calderon was so upset about a law that would tighten security between Arizona and Mexico. One wonders how he'll react if other border states like Texas, California and New Mexico follow Arizona's lead and pass their own anti-illegal immigration law.

Pakistan, Afghanistan Wish to Negotiate Surrender to Terrorists
Pakistan, Afghanistan begin talks about dealing with insurgents
By Karin Brulliard and Karen DeYoung
Saturday, June 19, 2010; A01
ISLAMABAD, PAKISTAN -- Afghanistan and Pakistan are talking about how to make peace with insurgents fighting U.S. troops in Afghanistan, including one faction considered the coalition forces' most lethal foe, according to Pakistani and U.S. officials.
The discussions reflect the beginnings of a thaw in relations between Kabul and Islamabad, which are increasingly focused on shaping the aftermath of what they fear could be a more abrupt withdrawal of U.S. troops than is now anticipated. But one element of the effort -- outreach by Pakistan to the militia headed by the young commander Sirajuddin Haqqani -- faces opposition from U.S. officials, who consider the al-Qaeda-linked group too brutal to be tolerated.
At Pakistan's suggestion, Gen. Ahmed Shuja Pasha, the chief of Pakistan's powerful intelligence agency, made an unprecedented trip last month to Kabul to discuss with Afghan President Hamid Karzai a wide range of possible cooperation, including mediating with Pakistan-based insurgents.
Several weeks ago, Pasha and Pakistan's army chief of staff, Gen. Ashfaq Kiyani, returned to continue the discussion. There is no agreement between the two nations, but a Pakistani security official said the outreach to insurgents is "not a problem."
The previously undisclosed visits came as the United States, gradually warming to the idea of reconciliation with insurgents, encourages improved relations between the two governments, which have long viewed each other with suspicion. But Obama administration officials have cautioned Afghanistan and Pakistan that they will not support talks with Haqqani's militia.
"We think reconciliation has to have an Afghan face," a senior administration official said in Washington, adding that the United States "understands" the desire to talk. But the United States has made clear, the official said, that "we expect to be treated as full partners and not to be surprised." The official spoke on the condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of discussing frictions with allies.
The talks are a reminder that Afghanistan and Pakistan each has an agenda independent of its relationship with the United States and that they may draw different lines in deciding how and when to make peace.
Haqqani's adoption in recent years of suicide bombings and complex urban assaults has made his faction, based in Pakistan's North Waziristan tribal area, a top threat to military gains and political stability in Afghanistan. The CIA and U.S. military think that Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence agency retains links with, and possibly assists, Haqqani, and they have pressed Pakistan to target his sanctuaries.
In a recent meeting with Pakistan's army chief, U.S. Gen. David H. Petraeus, the head of Central Command; Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Mike Mullen; and Gen. Stanley A. McChrystal, the U.S. and NATO commander in Afghanistan, presented evidence that deadly attacks in Afghanistan last month on a NATO convoy and the main coalition air base were commanded and controlled by Haqqani from Miram Shah, the largest city in North Waziristan, where Pakistan maintains a military base.
National security adviser James L. Jones has carried the same message of caution on Haqqani in recent visits to Pakistan, essentially saying that the only outreach the Pakistani government directs toward him should be at the end of a gun.
Pakistan denies that it supports Haqqani, who they say spends much of his time in Afghanistan. But Pakistani security officials said they could reopen old ties to the network, which they think could be used to persuade other insurgent factions to pursue a political settlement.
Pakistan has long advocated that course, and it has been angling for a role in Kabul's potential negotiations. Some Pakistani officials viewed Karzai's firing this month of his intelligence chief and interior minister, both highly critical of Pakistan, as a "goodwill gesture," one security official here said.
Taliban's vanguard
As U.S. troops focus counterinsurgency efforts on the Taliban's southern hub, Haqqani, who is in his 30s, is expanding the southeastern front through attacks on American forces and through ruthless intimidation of locals, along with deep ties to other militant groups spanning the border. U.S. military officials and terrorism analysts say Haqqani's bold and brutal style embodies the Taliban's vanguard: younger commanders driven more by anti-Western zeal than by the nationalist aspirations of their elders.
"The suicide bombers come from this class," said Ali Ashraf, director of the FATA Research Center in Islamabad, which studies the tribal areas. "If the leadership comes into this class, it's going to be extremely dangerous."
Haqqani's fairly autonomous network is the single largest insurgent force, according to some estimates, and is an important bridge between the Taliban and al-Qaeda. It has expressed no interest in peacemaking, Afghan and U.S. officials say.
The rising U.S. pressure on North Waziristan, including stepped-up attacks carried out by unmanned aerial vehicles, has caused Pakistan to step up its push for a negotiating role in dealing with the Taliban. Beyond the Haqqani group, Pakistan maintains ties with other Taliban factions, including the dominant Afghan Taliban, headed by Mohammad Omar, and an allied group headed by Gulbuddin Hekmatyar.
On the Afghan side, envoys representing Karzai have met with representatives of the Afghan Taliban's leadership council, or Quetta Shura, but regard the Haqqani group with greater suspicion.
Maintaining alliances
Haqqani's network was founded by his father, Jalaluddin, a legendary Afghan mujaheddin leader whose anti-Soviet campaign during the 1980s was backed by Pakistan and the CIA. After the elder Haqqani passed the reins to Sirajuddin in recent years, the organization has swelled in lethality and in size, to as many as 10,000 fighters.
Like his father, Haqqani has thrived in part by maintaining delicate alliances with the border region's militant factions. Haqqani holds a seat on al-Qaeda's leadership council, analysts say, and receives ample funding from Arab backers. In North Waziristan, where the Haqqanis run religious schools and militant training camps, he has mediated disputes among factions of the Pakistani Taliban, from which he plucks fighters, said Ashraf, the researcher.
Haqqani, who is described by those who know him as soft-spoken, said in an audio recording in April that his group's cooperation with the Taliban and al-Qaeda was "at its highest limits."
Unlike the farmers who make up much of the southern insurgency dominated by Omar's Taliban, Haqqani's forces include foreign fighters and are largely drawn from madrassas, or Islamic schools, and thus tend to be more extreme. They rely on assassinations, shakedowns and kidnappings-for-ransom but show little interest in politics, military officials said.
"The Haqqanis are not here offering their brand of governance or development. The Taliban are," a senior U.S. military official in Afghanistan said. "They're not a popular organization, but they're a powerful one."
Two weeks ago, a band of Haqqani fighters rounded up all the men in one village of Afghanistan's Khost province, residents said. They marched 10 into a valley, then blindfolded, bound and fatally shot six -- among them a 16-year-old student and a tribal elder -- on suspicion of spying.
"The son doesn't care which tribe is the enemy or friend of another," Abdul Wali, a tribal elder in Paktia province, near where the killings took place, said of Sirajuddin Haqqani. "He and his fighters just want to do terrorist activities."
Some observers say Haqqani's brutal tactics and perceived closeness to Pakistan have strained his relations with Omar, the Afghan Taliban leader, who has repudiated tactics that kill civilians.

BAD NEWS For Global Warming Moonbats Thickest Ice Cap in Years
BAD NEWS For Global Warming Moonbats Thickest Ice Cap in Years Posted: 16 Jun 2010 11:22 AM PDT Oh Boy, poor Al Gore! He has had such an awful few weeks. First it was the announcement that he is separating from his wife of 40+ years. Then the revelation of his affair with friend Larry David's ex-wife, and today the biggest blow of all. A new observational study shows that the arctic ice is thicker than it has been in years, striking a blow to Gore's Billion Dollar Climate change buisness. "This is a nice demonstration that there is still hope for the ice," said Haas.
Its the equivalent of making a weather forecast without looking out the window. Which is the problem with most of the global warming predictions, which are based on computer modeling without the benefit of observation.

Death Knell of America: Carbon Tax on the Global Warming Hoax
Death Knell of America
Allowing Obama and Congress to Pass the Carbon Tax on the Global Warming Hoax
By Jerry McConnell Friday, June 18, 2010
Our blood-sucking liberal Democrat Congress, with the obvious urging of the Dictator-in-the-Wings B.H Obama, is showing their desperation at the prospects of annihilation at the polls this coming November.
These panicky worms have piled debt after debt after debt on our backs with their unbelievably arrogant and unintelligent forays into the Treasury of our country with their spend, spend, spend programs that may have been a tad acceptable had only one major drain been foisted on the ever-worried tax payer; but no, one was not enough, they kept wanting MORE, MORE, MORE with their nonsensical bail out programs, their insane (non) Stimulus programs, the back-breaking ObamaCare health program until they have us taxpayers on our knees BEGGING their indulgence to spare us even more heavy debt and tax burdens.
And now even after the country, including some of their former allies and supporters screaming ENOUGH, ENOUGH, these vicious anti-Americans that would drown us all in a sea of red ink just to be able to win in the upcoming elections through the sheer bludgeoning of us, want to pass the odious and corrupted global warming bill, renamed to make it sound more acceptable, to Cap and Trade; another farcical misnamed piece of dung designed mainly to do ONE thing – CAUSE MORE DEBT AND MUCH, MUCH HIGHER TAXES.
And why, you ask, would they do this thing right now when the country is devastated with a financial crisis of our southern coast due to the gigantic in volume and in financial losses as well, oil spill crisis. This is one of the Rahm Emanuel "never waste a crisis" crisis, that can distract the public's eyes away from their dishonest manipulative mishandling of our tax money in the Treasury.
They, meaning Emanuel, Obama, Reid, Pelosi and many other downright criminally dishonest thieves, all liberal Democrats, want to in effect, steal you blind to finance the upcoming elections in November that is the only thing that can put the fear of God in them. They will do ANYTHING, legal or illegal, moral or immoral, honest or dishonest with emphasis on the second word of the pairs just shown to retain their power of majority in the worst, most inefficient and the absolutely most corrupt and dishonest Congress the country has ever experienced.
These despicable corrupted thieves led by the greatly endangered for reelection Senator Harry Reid, (D-NV) are driving all their muscle and wits to get this bunch of cohorts in crime, liberal Democrat accomplices to pass the so-called "Carbon Tax"; AKA, "Global Warming Hoax" before they adjourn for their summer vacation before the Fourth of July.
They want to ram it through before you realize what they're up to and how VERY MUCH it will cost you in increased taxes. I am not kidding when I say that a gallon of gas will rise to the $6 to $8 dollar a gallon if this energy tax program that they are pushing under the guise that it will benefit our environment. That is pure B.S. in capital letters. This money that will come in from the exorbitant taxes on ALL energy items such as your electricity bill, your heating and cooling oil and electric bill and ALL your food items that go through the processing and distribution channels consuming high amounts of energy, will all skyrocket beyond the levels of sanity for the average person.
Do YOU want to see this country drop to its knees begging for food and other meager daily needs just to keep this bunch of lying, cheating and good for nothing liberals in charge of this country? Do you want to see armies of groups like ACORN performing police duties in your neighborhood at the direction of the liberals who are fighting desperately to stay in control?
That's what you're going to get if you let your Congressman or woman or your Senator pass this Cap and Trade Energy Carbon Tax bill. You have already seen the damage this corrupt Congress led by liberals can do in a short amount of time; can you handle any more. The tax bills for the damages already done haven't yet begun to show as they have been deliberately deferred in order to pile more on before you get wise.
Trust me people, this new tax the liberals want to foist on us for the big lie that is known as GLOBAL WARMING, will be the beginning of the end for life as we have known it in America. Obama and his Bilderberg friends that desire total control over our country will blitz us into an eternal dark corner cannibalizing each other just to survive. THEY ARE DESPERATE TO GET IT DONE BEFORE JULY 4TH.
Not a very pretty picture is it? But it's what will be coming if this Cap and Trade energy Carbon Tax is passed. WE DON'T NEED IT AND CAN'T AFFORD IT. You can bet your life on that.

Gagging on Green Garbage
Internet, The 'green movement' was to be the linchpin for global enslavement
Gagging on Green Garbage
By Joseph A Olson, PE Friday, June 18, 2010
As every hunter knows, it is the wounded beast that is the most dangerous. Humanity is now witnessing the final death throes of a hidden, monopolistic power structure that has manipulated science, government and the media for their benefit for far too long. The end of the second Dark Ages is now upon us.
We stand, like Dorothy, in our ruby slippers and tremble before the great, the powerful, the bellowing Oz. Today's tale has the same cast of characters as that childhood fairy tale and, as the Good Witch of the North, I will identify all of these characters and their nefarious roles in today's final hours of this nightmare.
Dominating our journey for truth are the two forces of evil, the Wicked Witch of the West (WWW) and the pretended dichotomy of the Wicked Witch of the East (WWE). The WWW is the monopolistic hegemony of our government-media complex, which orders their science servants to direct human energy in the direction of monopolists benefit.
The WWE is the communist slave state of China, who entered this power sharing pact to avoid certain destruction at the human urge for democracy during the Tiananmen Square uprising. Together the monopolists have transferred the industrial base to empower their eastern allies and destroy the western democracies. The only remaining power in the west is the power to manipulate the population with a tightly controlled media monopoly.
The 'green movement' was to be the linchpin for global enslavement
Our ruby slippers are the truth and the yearning for freedom. The internet is the clicking of those blessed slippers. The 'green movement' was to be the linchpin for global enslavement. The 'greenies' are entirely funded by the monopolists to subvert the truth and defeat freedom. Humanity has endured decades of this mindless assault.
This author's childhood was wasted in an abusive blue collar environment where a cheap set of encyclopedias was as much science as one should ever dream to have. I resolved that as an adult I would indulge myself in the wide range on science literature, in particular my childhood favorites, Popular Science and Popular Mechanics.
As an adult subscriber to both of these pseudo-science periodicals, I must now admonish them both for their unbelievably partisan endorsement of the Green Garbage Orthodoxy. Popular Mechanics is the yellow science stepchild of the great Hearst Publishing history of yellow journalism and disgusting advocacy. William Randolph Hearst was in every way the disgusting a robber baron that Orson Wells portrayed him to be in his epic movie, Citizen Kane. The Editorial Board of Advisors for PM includes the discredited greenie mouthpiece Gavin A Schmidt of the Goddard Institute for Space Studies.
Popular Science was a Time Magazine property until January 2007 when it was purchased by the privately held Bonnier Group of Sweden. Mark Jannot, the lame editor of this magazine admits in his July editorial that he is "a blinkered tech acolyte" and has a proven lack of objectivity with regards to the climate change issue.
The "East Anglia Event Horizon" occurred on Nov 19, 2009 and that day will live in infamy in the honest history of science. Yet in the nine months since the 'Climate-Gate' disclosure there has NOT BEEN ONE MENTION of this event or any conflicting viewpoints to the AGW orthodoxy presented in Popular Science or Popular Mechanics. Not a single letter to the editor in opposition, not a single mention of ANY other possible climate forcing factors.
This is not science, this is despicable political advocacy. The July issues of both magazines are full cover spreads on the pending "Ecotopia" and the "Truth about Energy" and inside each are twenty pages of slick green garbage ready for public spoon feeding. It doesn't matter if the spoon is an infant sized, rubber coated safety-spoon, this is still a spoon FULL OF CRAP.
An even greater evil is the Rothschild owned 'Reuters News Service' and their late 2009 acquisition, the 'Associated Press Newswire'. Now the monopolistic nature of news is undeniable. Now equally transparent is the faux democracy of the current political system. Every presidential candidate for the last few decades has been a pre-selected and pre-approved puppet of the New World Order cabal. When you own both horses in a horse race it is hard to lose, unless you pick a stallion with an uncontrollable libido.
World is Saved by Little Willy
William Jefferson Clinton was selected to aid the president and given a simple agenda, first pass government health care and then the Kyoto Climate Treaty. Ever the silver-tongued slacker, Slick Willy delegated the health care issue to his acerbic spouse who hammered together in private a 'Hilary Knows Best Healthcare Proposal' that was soundly rejected. The 'Clinton Climate Collapse' that followed was a completely unexpected blow for the monopolists.
The carefully crafted carbon caused climate hoax was to capitalize on the undisputed 30 year warming-cooling Earth cycle. The 1996 approved Kyoto accord was to hit the US Congress in 1998, in time for the predictable heating maximum. Then the government-media complex could alter temperature data and create hysteria for preventing climate change. The draconian taxes would kick in at the same time as the natural 30 year cooling cycle, so our pain would be comforted because we were indeed, appearing to be saving the planet.
Sometimes it is the 'little things' that change history. In this case it was Slick Willy's little Willy. Slick Willy surrendered to Little Willy whenever an oval office intern appeared. Cast as either a chubby pizza delivery girl or the devil in the blue dress, one intern did change history. All of the finger wagging denials in the world could not change the deposit that IS by definition, sex. This NWO puppet then expended all of his political capital to remain in office while Kyoto languished on the sidelines.
This silver-tongued devil was then followed by the next NWO puppet, the silver-spoon pretend Texan. This mental midget was soon mired in the mismanagement of two wars and was too distracted to push the climate tax on a wary public. The next NWO puppets had the task of pushing the previous Clinton failures of health care and cap-and-tax. This time we are firmly 10 years into the 30-year cooling cycle and the science community has been awakened by the Climate-Gate disclosures and the transparent failure of the warmist hypothesis.
Say it Ain't so Joe
Now back to the wizard tale and humanity's character, played by Dorothy. Our Dorothy has one curious companion, the claimed independent, Joe Lieberman. This NWO bagman now has two pieces of legislation pending. The Kerry-Lieberman 'American Power Act' is a deceitfully titled carbon tax to fulfill the Clinton failure. The 'Protecting Cyberspace as a National Asset Act' is a Lieberman bill to give complete control of the internet to the White House and DHS.
We must now choose the proper role for this turncoat. Senator Lieberman, who renounced the corrupt Democratic party to represent dear Dorothy, must now decide. Is Lieberman the character with straw for brains, the one with a hollow echo where his heart should be, or is he the coward hiding in the NWO shadow ? ? ?
As a true Texan, I distain the blogosphere bludgeoning of an unseen opponent. As one Joe to another, Senator Joe Lieberman please subpoena me to Congress. I would be glad to tell you face to face what a thoughtless, heartless, coward you really are. You are a traitor to the truth, to the American people and to all humanity. Maybe you are not Dorothy's companion after all. Maybe you are just one of the hundreds of winged apes that pose as Congressional Representatives while they cater to the NWO and their K Street whores. I'll contact your office to give the correct address for my Congressional subpoena.

Re: Obama stops clean up to create bigger disaster
skimmers in because they are not 100% efficient?

Though they did not meet the EPA requirements, BP was the one that
said they didn't need them, and wouldn't pay for them.
